This ruby red seaweed has a popular, smoky salt flavour, medium umami and a ‘high roasted’ bitter taste. Superfoodies Organic Seaweed Dulse Flakes (Palmaria palmata) have a good mineral composition, rich in potassium and manganese, with moderate iodine (0.23mg per 1g serve). Along with B vitamins such as B9 and B12, and vitamin K1, it also has an excellent protein and fibre content (with a 42% dietary fibre content).
