Fresh or frozen, berries make a wonderful Berry Smoothie!

Berries are Nature’s superfood delights, and how better to enjoy them than in a berry smoothie! Berries are packed with health-giving benefits as well as tasting wonderful and coming in so many varieties and flavours. So, there’s even more reason to indulge in a Berry Smoothie this Christmas than just satisfying our taste buds. Berries are our high antioxidant friends and did you know they not only help protect our cells from disease, oxidation and degeneration, but they also help us to look vibrant and healthy.

The antioxidant activities of berries help to prevent the oxidation of cells and also restore damaged cells …

Berries are rich in vitamin C which helps to keep the skin firm by aiding collagen production. Collagen strengthens skin and supports elasticity and firmness. For me there is no argument, a healthy vibrant glowing skin is the best apparel to be seen in.

Fortunately, we ‘superfoodies’ can boost our antioxidant intake with the addition of our maqui berry and acai berry powders which have the highest antioxidant counts of all berries. Lets lace our summer berry smoothies with our high antioxidant berry powders for increased potency and taste sensation. Remember to have some sacha inchi protein powder and chia seeds on hand to ensure there is protein to help carry and balance the sugars. Protein is also essential for healthy skin hair and nails.
