coconut water powder, freeze dried, organic

Studies have found that due to the composition of electrolytes found naturally in Coconut Water, it can be used as an excellent natural recovery drink after sports because of its rehydrating properties. Low in fat, but full in flavour, Superfoodies' Organic Coconut Water Powder can provide an effective and nutritious natural alternative.

In the sports nutrition world, health conscious consumers are beginning to move away from artificial drinks, instead looking towards natural alternatives. Coconut water may be the answer. As well as being low in fat and containing plentiful amounts of Vitamin C and B-Vitamins, coconut water presents the same electrolyte levels as human blood plasma, making it a great replacement for lost fluids. Calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and potassium can all be found in coconut water in their natural form. Because of this natural isotonic electrolyte balance, coconut water has also played an important role in the treatment of dysentery in the developing world.
